Since Baidu was sued by four major record companies in September for offering access to copyright-violating music downloads, China's major search engines have all been scrambling to find solutions that won't cause them to lose significant amounts of traffic. Chongqing Economic Times reports that Baidu has reached agreements with 16 record companies concerning its MP3 search function. Ford's long-awaited Focus went on sale in China on 21 September. According to Chang'an Ford's executive vice managing director of sales Xing Gang, Chang'an Ford's supply cannot keep up with orders coming through its 100 authorized dealers in China. In an interview with China Business News, Xing Gang said that although this number is relatively small, Ford's immediate attention is on individual dealer's profitability rather than massively expanding its sales network.
