Ufida Software predicts its China revenues will grow 25-30% each year in the immediate future, while Shanghai growth is predicted to surge 37%, the China Business Herald reported. “From the beginning of this year, we have attracted more VIP clients who have chosen Ufida in preference to SAP or Oracle,” said Ji Xueqing, general manager of Ufida Software Shanghai. “Local companies better understand what local customers need.” The software company aims to add 50 new clients this year by signing deals with multinational corporations and the organizing committees of the 2008 Olympics and 2010 World Expo. Around 80% of China’s securities companies use Ufida. It has also reached an agreement with Changjiang Pension Fund, which was founded in April to manage local corporate annuities worth nearly US$2 billion (RMB15.2 billion).
