5 Mainland IT Firms among World's Top 100

Tencent Holdings (HKG: 0700), China Mobile (NYSE: CHL, HKG: 0941), BYD (HKG: 1211), ZTE (SHE: 000063), and Aisino of mainland China have been listed in the world's 100 strongest IT firms by Newsweek. Tencent Holdings were ranked 9th, BYD 23rd, China Mobile 33rd, ZTE 39th, and Aisino 73rd, where ZTE, a Shenzhen-based mobile handset maker, was the only telecommunications device producer from the mainland. The annual ranking surveyed more than 30,000 listed IT companies across the globe about their revenues, revenue growth, and earnings per share.
