Air traffic is expected to soar in China
China's airlines are expected to carry 270 million passengers in 2010 following annual growth of 14.5 percent, The Standard reported, citing Xinhua.
The annual passenger growth rate for China's airlines over the next four years is expected to be 14.5 percent, Xinhua News Agency cited the deputy director of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China as saying.
This will bring the number of passengers flying on Chinese airlines in 2010 to 270 million, according to deputy director Wang Changshun.
The cargo turnover for China's airlines is forecast to grow by 14 percent annually, Wang said.
