China's venture capital/private equity investment market recorded 28 transactions valued at a combined $779 million in February, ChinaVenture figures show.

VC investors contributed 18 transactions involving $191 million in February, down 10% and up 60% respectively from the previous month. PE investors made 10 investments totaling $558 million last month, up 25% and down 36.6% respectively from January, ChinaVenture said.
