- 1.27 million passenger cars were produced, down 2.8% month on month and up 21.6% year on year
- 1.61 million vehicles were sold, down 1.1% month on month and up 16% year on year
- 1.28 million passenger cars were sold, up 0.5% month on month and up 22.6% year on year
- 162,600 SUVs were sold, up 3.9% month on month and up 58.4% year on year
- 40,300 MPVs were sold, down 6% month on month and up 10.9% year on year

Between January and May:
- 8 million vehicles were produced, up 3.2% year on year
- 6.34 million passenger cars were produced, up 7.1% year on year
- 8.02 million vehicles were sold, up 1.7% year on year
- 6.33 million passenger cars were sold, up 5.5% year on year
- 760,400 SUVs were sold, up 28.1% year on year
- 206,900 MPVs were sold, up 4.4% year on year
