Chinese vehicle exports climbed 23.32% year-on-year to US$4.704 billion in August and imports climbed 22.58% to US$2.713 billion, the
China Securities Journal reported, citing China Customs figures. Both figures were down slightly on September. Over the first eight months of the year, automobile imports were up 35.15% year-on-year to US$21.983 billion and exports up 36.50% to US$34.350 billion.
