Beijing Hyundai to put out hybrids
Beijing Hyundai chairman Xu Heyi said that the company would bring out a hybrid-model Accent following the introduction of the economy-sized family sedan to China, China Business News reports. Xu said that bringing the small car to market was the first step in Beijing Hyundai's plan for new vehicles. The second stage will consist of cooperation with Korea's Hyundai to bring in the hybrid vehicle. FAW-Toyota introduced its Prius to China in January of this year, and Honda has plans to put a domestically-produced, hybrid Accord on the market in the second half of this year.Link: http://dycj.ynet.com/article.jsp?oid=8083963
