Big 3 Carriers Quash Cargo Service Merger

China's top three airlines, China Southern Airlines Ltd (NYSE: ZNH, SHA: 600029, HKG: 1055), China Eastern Airlines Corp (NYSE: CEA, SHA: 600115, HKG: 0670) and Air China Ltd (SHA: 601111, HKG: 0753) have all denied that they will merge their cargo transport divisions. It had been reported that the carriers were working to incorporate all cargo services into China Eastern Airlines' China Cargo Airlines.
