Automotive parts giant Bosch Group will invest a further US$1.17 billion in China through 2010, the
Shanghai Securities News reported. It has already invested almost US$1.38 billion in the country as at the end of 2007. Bosch now collects 16% of its revenues from the Asia Pacific region, with China being the key contributon. It expects to boost that to 25% by 2015. Revenues from China are expected to rise 30% year-on-year to US$3.16 billion in 2008. The company’s common rail diesel injection system plant in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, plans to increase capacity from 100,000 units last year to 1.4 million by 2010.
