Brilliance teams up with Russian automaker
Brilliance China Automotive Holdings said it has signed a contract with Russian automaker Irito Invest to build its fourth plant outside China, China Auto News reported. The move came after it exported 158,000 Zhonghua Zunchi sedans to Germany and 80,000 Haise light commercial vehicles to Russia last year. Brilliance, which is based in Shenyang, Liaoning province, expects to sell 100,000 Zhonghua Junjie sedans in Russia over the next five years. Production will kick off in January and sales in March.
