CCTV World Cup ad revenue hits 1 billion yuan

CCTV's market research firm CRT Market Research released statistics on Monday that CCTV earned over one billion Yuan in advertising revenue during the 22 days of the 2006 FIFA World Cup, PacificEpoch reported, citing Oriental Morning Post. World Cup-related online ad revenue was more than 580 million Yuan and World Cup-related ad revenue from out-of-home flat screen advertising and mobile TV on buses and handsets is estimated to be about 250 million Yuan.
