Cellphone Usage Hits 52% in China

Cellphone circulation in China stood at 52.5%. Despite the national average standing at 52% the numbers for first tier cities are dramatically higher. Shanghai averaged 107.5 cellphoones for every 100 people between April and June, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology figures have shown. This compares to China's Capital, Beijing which averages 104 cellphones for every 100 people, followed by Guangdong province where 88.8 cellphones was the average for every 100 people.
