Chery will assemble 4000 cars in Russia this year, National Business Daily reports. The Chinese automaker has set up a US$200 million partnership with Autotour of Leningrad with a 150,000 vehicle annual capacity. Chery began exporting cars to Russia last December, and to date has sold 400 vehicles. Autotour has begun assembling Chery-branded cars at its plant in Russia, with an estimated 4000 units to be produced this year.
