September 30 – China's software industry posted 1.94 trillion yuan in revenues and 212.6 billion yuan in net profits in the first 8 months, up 24.1% and 25.5% respectively from a year earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said. The industry exports value was up 19% year on year to $25.4 billion during the 8 months.
