China's online B2C retail market expanded 24.1% quarter-on-quarter and 173% year-on-year to ¥3.5 billion for first 3 months of the 2009, an Analysys International report has shown. The economic distress has prompted consumers to economize making online shopping's cheapness and convenience more tempting, the report said. Retailers' effort to put stuff online also contributed to the rapid growth.
