October 21 – Almost all of the 300,000 tons of rapeseed oil for government auction have been sold at high prices. The government has to auction more to check the rising prices, analysts say. China consumes over 4 million tons of rapeseed oil a year.

The two projects expected to begin working in mid 2011 will lift Yingli's total capacity to 1.7 GW.
