China Commodities City Net Profit Up 55%

Net profits at China Commodities City Group (CCC Group) were up 55.41% year-on- to 303.22 million yuan (US$38.874 million) for full-year 2006 on the back of climbing revenues, China Business News reported. Revenues from market networks climbed 44.07% year-on-year to 911.6 million yuan (US$116.87 million), accounting for 78.38% of the groups core business profits, after the group’s international commerce and trading plaza began trading in October 2005. The group specializes in the development and management of commodities markets, the sale of commodities, and the development and sale of real estate. It manages the Yiwu China Commodity City, a wholesale market of small commodities, which has been leading China's wholesale market for 15 years in terms of business volume.
