Yuan-denominated loans and deposits totaled ¥535.6 billion and ¥1.31 trillion respectively in February, down ¥192.9 billion and up ¥321.4 billion compared to the a year earlier, said China's central bank. The market had expected new loans would exceed ¥600 billion in February.
China's government revenue grew 36% year on year to ¥1.85 trillion in January-February, said the Ministry of Finance.
