As high as 19% of China's employees changed their jobs in 2010, with 15% being active resignations, according to Hay Group, a global human resource consultancy. The group forecasts China's employee remuneration to grow 9.3% this year, up significantly from 6.9% in 2010.
Foreign direct investment in China rose 11.1% year on year to $8.45 billion in August, the Commerce Ministry said. FDI was up 17.7% to $77.63 billion over the past eight months.
Vehicle sales volume in China grew 4.2% year on year to 1.38 million in August and grew 3.3% year on year to 11.98 million in the first eight months of this year, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. China exported 540,000 vehicles including 316,200 passenger cars from January to August, up 60.7% and 82.9% respectively from the same period a year ago.
From 2011 to 2015, 45 million rural inhabitants are expected to go to cities to work, reducing the rural workforce to 250 million, according to a report by the State Council, China's cabinet.
