China's Manufacturing Expanded in December
China's manufacturing activity bounced back in December as its official purchasing managers index rose to 50.3, up from 49 a month earlier, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. The non-manufacturing index climbed 6.3 points to 56 in December.

Chinese banks sold ¥15.53 trillion worth of wealth management products in 2011, more than double the amount sold in the year before, according to Financial Times China. Such products reported an annualized yield of 4.14% in Q1-Q3 2011, well above the benchmark one-year deposit interest rate.

Shanghai Disneyland to Break Ground in Apr
Walt Disney Co's (NYSE: DIS) theme park in Shanghai is expected to create 20,000 to 30,000 local jobs and begin construction in April, according to the Shanghai government.
