Produce Trade Surplus Surges 82% in Q1
China exported $14.47 billion worth of produce and imported $25.87 billion worth of produce in Q1 2012, up 5.6% and 29.5% respectively from the same period a year ago, according to customs figures. This resulted in a $11.4 billion surplus during the period, up 81.5% year on year.
China to Serve 450m 3G Users by 2015
China's revenue from telecommunications services is expected to total ¥1.5 trillion annually by 2015, according to a five-year plan released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The number of 3G service users is estimated to exceed 450 million accounting for 36% of all mobile service users by the end of 2015.
