China to Step Up Removing Excess Capacity
China will stick to its energy saving policy and step up eliminating polluting and inefficient industrial capacities, according to a State Council meeting. The five-year plan states that the amount of energy input needed to generate a unit of GDP should be reduced 16% by the end of 2015 from 2010 levels.
