China exports planes to Zambia
Harbin Aviation Industry Corp (HAI) delivered three light and multi-purpose aircrafts to the defense ministry of Zambia on Monday, Xinhua reported.
The 19-seat Y12 series planes are twin-engine, general-purpose monoplanes designed and developed by HAI, which based in the Heilongjiang’s provincial capital Harbin.
By the end of 2005, HAI had sold more than 100 such aircraft to20 countries and regions, include Nepal, Pakistan, Peru, Tanzania and Namibia, said the paper.
