May 29 – Sinoma Science & Technology Co (SHE: 002080), a manufacturer of special fiber composite materials, said it has spent ¥215 million acquiring a subsidiary of Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co (SHE: 002202, HKG: 2208), China's second largest wind turbine maker. Goldwind's subsidiary is a fan blade maker, which posted ¥198 million in revenues and ¥77.98 million in net losses last year.

May 28 – Hanlong Group, a privately-owned manufacturing conglomerate based in Sichuan province, said it has acquired Australia-based Sundance Resources Ltd for ¥10.5 billion. "Lots of banks have agreed to offer loans as the acquisition will help us import up to 200 million tons of iron ore to China per year," Hanlong chairman Liu Han told Yicai.com, responding to questions about the group's financial positions given it possesses just ¥36 billion in assets and sells ¥16 billion of goods a year.

May 28 – Gome Electrical Appliances Holding Ltd (HKG: 0493), China's second largest chain store by revenue, has paid a total of ¥73.33 million for 40% stakes in Coo8 and Xin Rui Mei, two Chinese electronics e-tailers. The purchases give Gome full control over the two companies.

May 27 – Zhejiang Semir Garment Co (SHE: 002563) said it plans to buy out Zhejiang Huaren Industries Co for ¥156 million to acquire its properties in the central business district of Hangzhou, Zhejiang's provincial capital. The deal will help Semir expand to high streets in the city, one of the richest in the country.
