China Mobile Budgets ¥40m Extra in TD-SCDMA

China Mobile (NYSE: CHL, HKG: 0941) will allocate ¥40 million ($1 = ¥6.83) to a TD-SCDMA office wireless project, the world's biggest wireless phone carrier said Sunday. It will put it out for tender on November 24. This will be China Mobile's second investment in the TD business so far this year; the first ¥600 million was announced in March.
