China not susceptible to sluggish US: Economist
The ongoing US financial crisis is unlikely to have a significant impact on the Chinese economy, Cao Yuanzheng, the chief economist at Bank of China International, told the Shanghai Securities News. “I think the US subprime woes will continue but will not turn into a financial crisis world wide,” he said. “So, it is just a localized turmoil, which will last at least until August or September.” ...
