China Scraps Export Rebates on Polluting Products

The Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation said Tuesday that export rebates for 406 products of steel and nonferrous metals will end on Jul 15. All of the affected goods require huge energy input and cause severe pollution. The current rebates range between 13% and 17%.
