China Southern airlines continue to boom
China Southern Airlines, China's largest carrier by fleet size, said it carried 3.84 million passengers in June, a 9% year-on-year increase. The airline said it also transported 63,030 tons of cargo in June, which is a 6.3% year-on-year increase. According to Forbes, for the first half of the year, the airline carried 22.69 million passengers, up 11.8% year-on-year. It carried 376,150 tons of cargo for the period, up 8.0%.
