China Southern joins SkyTeam

China Southern Airlines, the country's largest passenger carrier, has joined the international aviation association SkyTeam Alliance, the Economc Observer reported. China Southern president Liu Shaoyong said membership of the international airline network would help accelerate the airlines's strategic transformation. SkyTeam currently has 11 members flying 16,400 routes to 162 countries and regions a day.
