There will be 800 to 900 million credit cards in circulation in China by 2020, making it the world's number one, predicted MasterCard Worldwide. "The issuance and transactions of credit cards in China would see compound rates of 11% and 14% respectively between 2011 and 2025," said MasterCard vice president Chen Bin. "By 2025, China's credit card revenue and profit would increase 20-fold and 30-fold in comparison to current levels."
