Paid music downloads have come to China. Beijing's Huaqi Information Digital
Technology Company has launched an iTunes-like site (www.aigomusic.com) under its Aigo MP3 player brand name to offer songs and music videos
to Chinese consumers, The Beijing News
reports.
 
Aigo Music currently has a library of 60,000 songs and music
videos, provided through agreements with a dozen global music companies. Songs
cost 0.99 yuan (US$0.12) to download; music videos are 1.98 yuan, and exclusive
