Chinese Medicine Exports Up, Prices Down
Exports of Chinese medicine through Guangdong in 2005 reached 115,000 tons, worth US$140 million. This represents an increase in volume of 25.6%, and in value of 5.6%. Unit price, at US$1.23 per kilogram, fell 16.1% from 2004 levels.
