China National Aviation Fuel Holdings (CNAF) sold 14.51 million tons of aviation oil and other refined oil products last year, earning US$10.62 billion (RMB74.9 billion), the official
Xinhua News Agency reported. General manager Sun Li said the sales volume was up 49% on 2005 while the sales value was up 118% on 2005. The company was ranked 37th last year in terms of earnings among all central government-owned enterprises, up from 52nd in 2005. The company also claimed it invested US$32.62 million (RMB230 million) in workplace safety and achieved “zero accidents and zero pollution” last year. CNAF supplies 90% of China’s civil aviation oil needs.
