	Construction starts on Liaoning nuclear plant By STAFF EDITOR Published: August 20, 2007 05:22 PM Construction has started on a US$6.61 billion (RMB50 billion) nuclear power plant in the city of Dalian, Liaoning province, the official Xinhua news agency reported. The China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group Holdings Co and the China Power Investment Corporation each hold a 45% stake in the plant. Dalian Municipal Construction Investment Co owns the remainder.
