Crude imports edge up in Sept

China’s imports of crude oil edged up 1.5% year-on-year in September to 13.66 million tons, the China Securities Journal reported. Customs statistics show the country imported 124.07 million tons of crude oil from January to September, a 14% increase year-on-year. China is the second largest energy consumer in the world, behind the US.
