Datang investigated for leaks
China Securities Journal reports
that Datang became the subject of a regulatory investigation on
suspicion of leaking false information. The telecom company indicated
that it would cooperate with China's SEC. Datang recently announced
third quarter results showing a net loss of 195 million yuan (US$24.1
million) for the first three quarters of the year, and it predicted
that performance would continue to slide due to further restructuring
within the industry.
