Domestic banks face new age of banking

China’s accession to the WTO bought a five year long transition period for gradual opening of the country’s banking and finance sectors. The end of this transition period in December ushers in the influx of overseas finance institutions and accelerated banking reforms on the parts of Chinese institutions. How do domestic commercial banks greet this new age?
