June 15 – Shenzhen Airlines purchased $190 million of CFM56 engines for its Airbus A320 aircraft to be delivered in 2012 and 2013. CFM56 is manufactured by CFM International, a 50:50 joint company of Snecma (Safran Group) and GE (NYSE: GE).
