Huafeng Textile raises 250 million

Huafeng Textile International, a pioneer and leading fabric processor in the Province of Fujian City, PRC, announced today that it has secured 250 million HK dollars (31.25 million US dollars) in a round of funding, said the company in a statement. The financing was raised through sx banks which was led by CITIC Ka Wah Bank Limited and UOB Asia Limited and also joined by Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, Cathay United Bank Company Limited, DBS Bank Limited, and Industrial and Commercial International Capital Limited. "The new funds will allow us to add breadth and depth to our service offerings. Our primary objective is to utilize these funds to aggressively expand our operation," said Chairman Cai Zhenrong. "Our goal this year is to boost sales and earnings by entering into new markets, launching a series of new products and further enhancing our production technologies.
