Hyundai Heavy wins 110 million engine order from China
South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., the world's largest shipbuilder, has won a 110 million US dollars order from China to make ship engines, Reuters reported.
Hyundai will deliver 77 engines between April 2007 and July 2009 to the state-owned Shanghai Shipyard and Chengxi Shipyard.
The engines for a Shanghai-based shipyard will be installed into a 3,500 TEU (20-foot equivalent units) container ship and other vessels, wrote Reuters.
