Interbank dealers’ asssociation launched
China’s first national association for interbank market dealers was launched Monday amid government efforts to expand the role of market forces in currency trading, the official Xinhua News Agency reported. President Li Lihui of the Bank of China (BOC) was named chief of the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors, whose current membership comprises more than 90 dealers, intermediaries and experts.
