Introducing a new vehicle to China: Ford's Focus experience
Ford's long-awaited Focus
went on sale in China on 21 September. According to Chang'an Ford's executive
vice managing director of sales Xing Gang, Chang'an Ford's supply cannot keep
up with orders coming through its 100 authorized dealers in China. In an
interview with China Business News,
Xing Gang said that although this number is relatively small, Ford's immediate
attention is on individual dealer's profitability rather than massively
expanding its sales network.
