The Jinyu Group revealed that because its wholly-owned subsidiary Inner Mongolia BioPharmaceuticals Factory manufactured and sold fake vaccine for bird flu, its license to sell livestock medication had been suspended, Shanghai Securities News reports. The Ministry of Agriculture announced on the 9th that IMBF had been cited for producing fake vaccine during May and June of this year. IMBF generates more than half of the Jinyu Group's total operating revenue, so the group stands to take a massive performance hit from this license suspension, though it said it was unable to predict any precise numbers.
