Alliance Boots PLC is set to embark on a joint venture with China's Guangzhou Pharmaceuticals Corporation (GP Corp), the largest such venture in Chinese Pharmaceutical history.  The alliance not only paves the way for the British pharmaceutical giant's entry to the booming Chinese pharmaceutical market, but will also bring change to the current pharmaceutical wholesaling and retailing landscape in the midst of medical reforms.
