Kimball Electronics Group, a subsidiary of KimballInternational, Inc. has opened a new manufacturing facility in Nanjing, China, ChinaTechNews reported. The Nanjing facility will provide printed circuit board assembly, system subassembly, and final product assembly to KEG customers. In addition to the manufacturing of electronic assemblies, the Nanjing site will also provide engineering services along with supply chain support for all KEG facilities, said the report. "We are very excited to have our China facility operational and have the ability to support the requests from our customers for China production," stated Don Charron, President of Kimball Electronics Group. "The engineering and manufacturing expertise of the Nanjing facility will enable us to better serve our growing base of customers."
