Kingsoft Corporation (HKG: 3888), a major Chinese software developer, is planning to list its WPS office software division, which has been spun off as an independent entity, CEO Ge Ke told the China Securities Journal Friday. Revenues from its WPS products, antivirus software included, climbed 67% to ¥260 million in 2008, forming 32% of its turnover as a whole. Also on Friday, WPS launched its latest product, the WPS 2009, featuring the "office as a service" philosophy.
