Mary Kay 100 million RMB expansion starts operation
Cosmetics company Mary Kay (China) announced that its 100 Asia-Pacific production center in Hangzhou has entered operation, China Business News reports. The facility gives the company production capacity exceeding 120 million units. President and COO David Holl said that the China arm of the company would be the sales and production center for the Asian region. Mary Kay (China) had sales of 2.8 billion yuan in 2005, with sales volume on the rise. Total global sales amounted to US$4 billion.
