Mobile providers snare more than 50% of telco revenues
Revenue from mobile services jumped 17.8% to US$51.47 billion (RMB370.27 billion), accounting for 50.9% of China’s total telecom revenue last year, the China Securities Journal reported, citing figures from the Ministry of Information Industry. Mobile services captured 47.3% of total revenues in 2006.
