Morgan Stanley sets aside US$1b infrastructure fund
Morgan Stanley has set aside a US$1 billion private equity fund to invest in Chinese infrastructure, CEO Sadek Wahba told the China Securities Journal. “We will take out US$500 million from our Infrastructure Partner Fund and our partners will contribute at least another US$500 million,” Sadek said. The Infrastructure Partner Fund raised US$4 billion on May 13, well above its target of US$2.5 billion. ...
